Eyes Are Windows

September 2018

Welcome to Erate, where the color of your eyes is both a mark of shame and a badge of honor. Welcome to Erate, a great continent poised on the edge of a knife, as cultures clash and secrets come to light.

Star is a princess, whose people dream of a new age of exploration and peace. Sol is a nobody, whose people stopped dreaming long, long ago. Their unlikely friendship has the power to change everything - for the better and for the worse.

March 2020

When The Summer Wind Calls

Online Writing Challenge: 2017

The not-so-distant future has become the present. The world has changed and we must change with it. Childhood is shorter and parenting is harder.
Ashton dreams of the sky. Jake dreams of woods filled with snow. Drew dreams of escaping the life in which he is trapped. His sister, Alex, dreams of light. They didn't ask to be different.
They didn't ask to live double lives, always lying to those around them. But they did pray for someone, anyone, to hear them crying in the dark...
